Religion

St. Paul is committed to a quality, Christ-centered education that equips students to serve effectively in their church, community, and country. Through daily devotions, Bible study, and catechism, students build a firm foundation in Lutheran doctrine and God’s Word. This intentional focus nurtures spiritual development and a Christian worldview, providing students with the moral discernment needed for a secular world. By integrating faith into all aspects of life, St. Paul prepares students to succeed personally and professionally while confidently witnessing to others about their Savior. Ultimately, this curriculum empowers lifelong servants to honor God through both word and deed.

Math

St. Paul views mathematics as a reflection of the wisdom and orderliness of God’s creation. Grounded in Genesis 1:31, the curriculum prepares students to be confident "doers of mathematics" for lifelong Christian service. Aligned with the Wisconsin Standards for Mathematics, our vision balances computational skills, conceptual understanding, and real-world problem solving. We believe every student has the right to rigorous, relevant instruction in a collaborative environment. By developing these mathematical gifts, students gain the flexibility to critique and understand the world, opening professional opportunities to serve as productive contributors to God’s kingdom.

Language Arts

St. Paul views literacy as a divine gift used to nurture faith and witness to the world. Grounded in James 1:17 and Matthew 5:13-16, our English Language Arts (ELA) curriculum prepares students to be "salt and light" through confident communication and critical thinking. Aligned with the Wisconsin Standards for ELA, our integrated instruction treats literacy as a lifelong process that builds an understanding of the human experience. By developing skills in collaboration, creativity, and perspective-taking, students are equipped to grow professionally and declare God’s praises, serving as capable Christian leaders in an ever-evolving society.

Science

Students at St. Paul approach science through the foundational truth that God created a perfect universe in six days and continues to preserve it today. While scientific understandings evolve as new evidence emerges, God’s Word remains changeless. With instruction aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards, students apply biblical truths to scientific problems and investigations. As caretakers of the natural world, they use data and inference to better understand God’s universal organization. Ultimately, this connection between scientific discovery and Christian faith empowers students to see God’s hand in themselves and the world around them.

With instruction aligned with the Wisconsin Standards for Social Studies (WiSSS), students develop essential skills in inquiry, collaboration, and problem-solving, equipping them to share the Gospel and honor God within their communities. Ultimately, the program empowers students to participate thoughtfully in our democratic republic while maintaining their primary identity as followers of Christ.

Physical Education

St. Paul views the human body as a powerful testament to God’s wisdom. Following Mark 12:30, physical education is designed to equip students to serve Christ with their whole heart, soul, mind, and strength. Aligned with the Wisconsin Standards for Physical Education, our curriculum follows a developmental progression to build physical literacy. We prioritize wellness and fitness to combat modern health crises, including anxiety and stress. By setting goals and exploring diverse activities, students develop perseverance and character. Ultimately, this Christ-centered instruction fosters a lifelong commitment to health, ensuring students honor God through active, purposeful living.

St. Paul views the fine arts as precious God-given gifts used to worship and honor Him. Grounded in Colossians 3:17, our curriculum empowers students to reach their creative potential through Art and Music. In Art, students explore techniques and history to develop their unique talents, growing from basic inquiry to sophisticated, God-glorifying expression. In Music, students celebrate a rich Lutheran heritage of hymns while building skills in performance and collaboration. By integrating these disciplines, students are equipped to use their expressive abilities to serve others and praise the Lord skillfully in all they do.

St. Paul views information and technology as divine gifts used to glorify God and share the Gospel. Grounded in James 1:17, our curriculum integrates technology across all subjects to develop lifelong critical thinkers and self-directed learners. Aligned with the Wisconsin Standards for Information & Technology Literacy, students learn to use digital tools responsibly to solve problems and construct new knowledge. By exploring and analyzing issues through technology, students improve communication and productivity. This Christ-centered approach prepares them for high school and beyond as productive citizens and faithful servants who declare God’s praises in an information-driven world.
