Early Childhood Education

Our preschool provides a nurturing, faith-based environment for 3K and 4K learners. With two mixed-age classrooms, we maintain small class sizes and a low student-to-teacher ratio (average 7:1, never exceeding 8:1), ensuring personalized attention for each child.

Enrollment Options

At our preschool, we have two welcoming mixed-age classrooms for our 3K and 4K learners. The regular preschool day runs Monday through Friday from 8:10–11:10 AM, with drop-off beginning at 7:55 AM.

We’re proud to offer a nurturing, hands-on learning environment with small class sizes. We strive to maintain a 7:1 student to teacher ratio, and never go higher than 8 to 1, ensuring your child gets the individual attention they need to grow and thrive.

Enrollment Options

  • Families enrolling in 3K can choose a 3-day option (Tuesday–Thursday)

  • 5-day schedule (Monday–Friday), depending on what works best for your child and family.

Wrap Around Childcare

For families who need extra care before or after preschool, we offer flexible wraparound childcare from 7:15 AM to 5:30 PM for an additional hourly fee.

Early Childhood Values and Curriculum

  1. Growth in God’s Word – We nurture each child’s spiritual development by daily reminding them of the simple, yet profound truth that Jesus died for their sins, and that he is preparing a place in heaven for those who believe in him.

  2. Play – We believe play is a powerful tool for learning. It encourages creativity, exploration, problem-solving, and joyful engagement with the world.

  3. Whole Child Development – We support growth in all areas—cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual—recognizing that each area is important and interconnected.

  4. Individualization – Every child is unique. We honor individual needs, interests, and learning styles, providing personalized support to help each child thrive.

  5. Social/Emotional Growth – We help children build healthy relationships, express their feelings, develop empathy, and gain confidence as part of a caring classroom community.

We accomplish these goals by using the High Scope Curriculum (learn more here link) to structure our day and the Christ Light Curriculum to outline our Bible studies for the year.

Mrs. Julie Zabell (Director) and Mrs. Kristin Nelson serve as our lead teachers. Both hold Bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and have completed extended training in Early Childhood Education and the High Scope Curriculum. In addition, our aides are carefully trained by our lead teachers to ensure they contribute to a high-quality learning environment where your child can grow and thrive.
